A Word from the President

Born in England in 1964, arrived in Hawaii December 1997 from England via a trip around the world. Loved the north shore the minute I arrived here felt immediately at home driving down the Kamehameha Highway on my way to Haleiwa. The Island of Oahu is my favorite place on earth, a great example of multi cultures from all around the world, all living and working with each other in harmony. My love for the local people makes me feel relaxed and safe. The Hawaiian culture can teach us all so much about ourselves. As President of Honolulu Soaring, this gives me a golden opportunity to show our customers, from the comfort of a glider cockpit, a bird’s eye view of the beauty of the North Shore and beyond. From above, one can see the unspoiled mountainous landscape that continues for miles alongside the tropical blue Pacific Ocean. What an amazing experience!
